Parsley belongs to the family Umbelliferae and can be of two varieties: Curly leaf parsley grown in the U.S., Britain, Australia and New Zealand. Smooth leaf parsley grown in Italy, To this we must add two more specific forms, such as Neapolitan parsley typical of Southern Italy (the stems are used in salads as an alternative to celery) and the parsley in hamburg (grown for its root bulb). Parsley contains a lot of vitamins with antioxidant and two tablespoons of chopped parsley leaves contain 2 / 3 of the recommended daily amount of vitamin C.



Health Benefits from Parsley
Parsley has a relevant action against the disturbances affecting the genitourinary system - urinary system and is a good diuretic and cleansing. Also useful for the circulatory system problems, as it is a good vasodilator and also used for helping the digestive system. However, the use of parsley is definitely not recommended for those suffering from kidney problems and irritation to pregnant women.
