The grouped berries, like blueberries, raspberries, currants, blackberries and wild strawberries arise spontaneously in our woods, and have many benefits to be consume everyday. The berries of blue, purple and red have a very important role to our body because they contain substances that important for the structure of capillaries, the eye sight, the function of urinary and help prevent cancer and cardiovascular disease.



The raspberry plant is easily cultivated and the crops are found in four seasons country. Raspberry has a conical shape, the color varies from yellow to red, and black. Raspberry harvested from May to September. The shrub can be about two meters high. It contains a good amount of vitamin C. Raspberries, for their natural goodness are widely used by drugs to mask the unpleasant taste of medicines. They are diuretics and laxatives and contain iron and vitamin C that facilitates the medicine assimilation.

The cranberry is an angiosperm that grows in the forests of Europe and America. Its a berry tart flavor that typically grows in mountain forests. It contains citric acid, succinic acid and malic acid.

The blueberry are rich with classic purple pigments that contain a substantive antioxidant, quercetin, which belongs to the category of flavonoids. They are natural antibacterial and thanks to anthocyanins are especially effective against some types of gastrointestinal infections and cystitis. In addition, anthocyanins protect blood vessels by strengthening capillaries and toned the veins.

Usually people are define both the blackberry (red and black) and the mulberry (red) as the bush that grows wild in the countryside, and the mulberry tree is the one cultivated in the woods. The fruits ripen in the summer months and should be eaten freshly picked because they are very difficult to keep. Blackberries are rich in vitamin C and organic acids.

Blackberries contain fiber, manganese, potassium, vitamins C and E and are useful for the heart and arteries.  Antioxidant due to defends against free radicals that contribute to cancer and cardiovascular disease. In addition folic acid helps to depress the levels of homocysteine, a substance which is high if
represents a cardiovascular risk factor such as triglycerides.

The currant is a fruit are small berries together in clusters of color, red, black and white. It tastes sweet and sour, and prefers the cool temperate climate, and mature between June and August. There are three varieties of currants: black, red and gooseberries. The gooseberries grapes has yellow or pale green sour taste. They are uncommon and sometimes hard to find. The currant fruit is suitable for athlete because their organic acids help to regulate the acid-base balance of blood after intense muscular effort.

Among the varieties of wild strawberries the most common is the strawberry that produces fruits from spring to fall. They are sweet, small and very fragrant.
